Any animation course
requires planning and then execution. For getting required output you need to
follow some steps. Herein few stages which are prerequisite for final visual
output. Check it out:
1. Conceptualizing
your storyline
For the desired visual output you have to conceptualize your
storyline. Herein you have to check all your required characters, environment
and full planning which you want as a final output.
A storyboard is a sequence of activity which you want to put
first and which you want to put on last
and there are no of mutually connected parameters too. This is the stage
wherein you have to finalize how your one character coordinate with music and other characters. Your
upcoming steps are going to behave likewise as you are going to plan on this
step only.
2. Modeling
Once you finalize your storyline with authorized person or
with your end client then the task of building the props, environment and
characters begin. The proper term is called ‘modeling’.
Modeling is the process of giving final shape to your
characters. First you have to create a
simple object that is called primitive. Primitives can be anything from a
single dot to 3D structure. With the help of specific software you can create
desired object . First you create a
model in 3D then you’ll learn one method to create your model, and go back to
it time and again when you need to create new models.
3. Texturing
Once modeling is done this is time to add some colors, design and texture. This is
called mapping, and coloring of models. Coloring can be done with the help of
no of application like photoshop, it is up to you how you give rich effects to
your model . Required illusion can be created while Texturing. Mapping of
models can be done individually and then grouping is done.
4. Rigging
This is the sage wherein final skeleton is being made which
can give you movable character. This process is called rigging where the
setting is done for required skeleton. Rigging
depends on the characters. This is kind of skinning your required model
or characters.
5. Animation
Making your object in movable object comes to this stage .
Herein animator decides movement of characters frame by frame . There are two
types of movement is possible, first make a desired curve which your character
will follow or sudden appearance of your character comes into scene as per
requirement.
6. Lighting
With the help of no of setting tools you have to light your
object. It makes your object real and
live. A Selection of light decides the success of your work, as per the requirement of your storyline you have to play
with light.
7. Rendering
This is a very important stage of production .There are many
facets to creating a final render of a
scene, including angle of camera
placement, lighting choices which may affect scene and shadows, reflections and
transparency, and the handling of special effects.
8. Compositing
This is the stage where you can take live footage and blend
it with computer generated footage, and this will consider compositing .
9. Music
Making your visual more effective and touchy you need to put
required music in it. Music depends on characters , scenes and target audience.
Situation music can spread required message which text can not do, so selection
of the best music is the most important factor for success of your final output.
10. Editing and Final
Output
This is the stage where you decide what needs to be
showcased and what not! And this stage will give you improvement area. You can
give final touch up and check it as per your end clients requirement.
